I’m Julio, the owner of Loco Chon, a Mexican restaurant in Newcastle, WA, that was born in the middle of the pandemic. Starting out during such a wild time was tough, but finding this community reminded me of how I started my restaurant.
Chatting with owners here — about supply issues, hiring headaches, or just venting would have made my job so much easier. Now that Culinary Connected is a platform for all culinary owners, I want to invite others to connect, collaborate, and support each other.
